Bank holidays

Your rubbish and recycling will be collected as normal on all bank holidays except Christmas Day and New Year's Day. When these fall on a week day, collections will be one day later than usual for the rest of that week.

Blocks of flats

If you live in a block of flats, contact Waste Services to find out when large shared bins are emptied.

Sacks and dustbins

Put sacks out before 6.30am on your collection day.

Where to put your clear sacks

• If you have a front garden, leave sacks near to the entrance and not on the pavement
• If you do not have a front garden, put sacks on the pavement by your front door before 6.30am on your collection day. Do not put them out before 6.30pm the day before
