Business support and advice
Wandsworth is set on the south bank of the River Thames. It is London's ninth biggest borough in terms of population and the third biggest 'inner' London borough, in terms of geographical area. A mid-2016 population estimate for the borough was 318,100. Of any London borough, Wandsworth has the lowest rate of unemployment (2017), as well as the second lowest rate of low-paid local employees.
Further information, such as mid-year population estimate data, future population trends and projections, the borough's employment and business statistics and more can be obtained from the Office for National Statistics (ONS), Greater London Authority (GLA) and London Datastore.

The Supply Nine Elms 3 programme was launched in February 2017.
The aim of the current phase is to help local SMEs access construction and post-construction opportunities arising from the huge amount of property development and regeneration in the Nine Elms area, as well as elsewhere in Wandsworth. Over the past year it has helped local businesses in Lambeth and Wandsworth to win nearly £14 million of new work.
