In the UK, there is a free NHS immunisation programme that protects babies, children, teenagers, pregnant women, and adults.

Vaccination against flu
A free influenza vaccine is available for:
- Children
- Pregnant women
- Over 65-year olds
- People with certain medical conditions (including children in at-risk groups from 6 months of age)
- People who are overweight
- Carers and care home residents.
Travelling abroad
Some vaccinations are free for those travelling abroad. Ask your GP or Travel Health Nurse for more details.
