Description
Demolition of existing electricity substation and erection of seven blocks across the estate ranging from two to four-storeys to provide 41 new residential units, together with a new electricity substation.
The scheme also includes improvements to the hard and soft landscaping around the new developments and existing buildings on the estate.
News
The scheme is well underway onsite and progressing well, having recently passed the half way point of the construction phase. Following the local elections that took place in May 2022, the new administration has committed to delivering the Homes for Wandsworth programme as all council rent.
The tenure change was approved and all homes are now council rent. Works are continuing as planned, with all 41 homes and associated estate-wide landscaping being due for completion in winter 2024.

As such, we have written to all residents who currently hold a valid estate parking permit advising offering a Highways Controlled Parking Zone permit for the duration of the works. Consultation events
Three separate pre-planning resident and stakeholder consultation events were undertaken at nearby venues in July 2016 and July and October 2018. We have also conducted a virtual Meet the Contractor event on 2 December 2020 and the presentation slides can be viewed online.
