Donate to the Borough of Wandsworth Community Trust

100% of the funds raised by the trust will go directly towards local projects and initiatives that support the children and young people of Wandsworth. Even a small gift can make a large impact – if every household in the borough was able to donate £5, the trust could raise over half a million pounds to fund projects which improve the wellbeing of our children.

How to donate

There is an option to make a one-off donation or set up a regular gift.

If you are able, please remember to boost your donation by agreeing to Gift Aid. Donating with Gift Aid means charities can claim an extra 25p for every £1 you give, at no extra cost to you.

Donate online

Should you prefer to donate by post, cheques can be made payable to The Borough of Wandsworth Community Trust and sent to:

Wandsworth Community Trust
Wandsworth Town Hall
Wandsworth High Street
SW18 2PU

To further increase the impact of your donations, consider printing and completing the Gift Aid form and posting this with your cheque.

How donations will be used

In a consultation carried out in April 2021, Wandsworth residents told us they would be most keen to fund measures which improve the lives of young people who live in the borough. This is why the board of trustees chose children and young people as the first priority area for the trust. Within this area, the trust has drawn upon Council data and an assessment of the borough’s needs carried out by the Public Health team to identify potential priority areas for support:

Enabling children to thrive in their education, and support young people into employment

Funding could support activities such as mentoring and extra support programmes which help children and young people gain confidence and bounce back into education or the workplace following the COVID-19 pandemic.

Supporting children and young people’s mental health

Funding could support counselling or other activities to build resilience in children or young people.

Supporting healthy choices and activities

Funding could support activities that help children and young people to get physically active and make healthier choices in life.
