Visitors will be able to find out about local job opportunities, talk face-to-face with potential employers and can get expert advice from Google Digital Garage on CV development, building a personal brand online and self-promotion skills. For those interested in starting up their own business, there will be business startup and enterprise support from Metro Bank.
There will also be a range of live, interactive skills demonstrations showcasing sector skills from industry experts. Last year’s around a thousand people turned up and this year’s event is expected to be even bigger, with 49 exhibiting businesses on the day. Registration is now closed, but you can just turn up on the day.
