How to apply for financial help

There are a range of council schemes to help businesses and community groups make ends meet during the current crisis.
Small businesses that are eligible for small business rates relief or retail discount relief can make a claim for grants if they have been impacted.
All retail, hospitality and leisure businesses being granted a 100% business rates holiday for the next 12 months and many shops, restaurants, cafes, pubs and bars, cinemas, live music venues, hotels, guest houses and self-catering accommodation will have been forced to close as a result of the COVID-19 restriction measures so will now be eligible for the relief.
For nurseries in England that pay business rates, there will be a business rates holiday for the 2020/21 tax year.
Community groups and voluntary organisations can also apply to Wandsworth Council for financial support.
A new £100k COVID-19 Response Fund is being set up within the Wandsworth Grant Fund to help the many organisations who are playing a critical role in supporting some of the borough’s most vulnerable residents during the pandemic.
This is aimed at projects that can mobilise quickly and with an immediate start date.
