Wandsworth Council’s children’s services department has released its programme of online activities for the second week of the Easter holidays.
The council has got together with local youth clubs including the Tooting Hub, Roehampton Base and Caius House as well as the Kimber Skatepark, Digilab and Live Karma Yoga to put together the programme of daily activities including:
- Photography, film and yoga and debate via Zoom
- Origami, performing arts, an introduction to sing language, fitness dance, art, bike maintenance and Fortnite competitions via You Tube
- Coding via Skype
Cllr Will Sweet, cabinet member for education and children’s services, said: “We usually have loads going on for young people over the school holidays, and we know this Easter will be particularly hard for children cooped up at home – as well as for their parents. Hopefully this online programme will give people a chance to stay busy and learn something new.”
