There will be minibuses running to the event from the following locations:

  • St Joseph’s Church, 218 Roehampton Lane
  • Halfords Car Park, 316-324 Balham High Road
  • Boots Clapham Junction, 10 Falcon Road.

Wandsworth’s adult social care team is holding the free event on September 20 for people with care and support needs.

The event in the Wandsworth Civic Suite will have more than 30 stalls from local charities, businesses and community groups where you can browse information and find out about local support.

Organisers this week also released more details of the various activities on offer, which will include an art class from the Putney School of Art and Design, relaxation techniques from Talk Wandsworth, a light exercise class from Enable Leisure and Culture, African drumming from Generate, a drama workshop from the Baked Bean Company and a workshop by the Department for Work and Pensions on the carer’s allowance.

You can chat to council staff directly about key local services and take part in a Your Day Your Say workshop to give your views and help shape services in the future. You will also be able to enjoy refreshments at the all-day café, free of charge.
