Bop to the Eighties will include eighties music classics performed live by duo Living for the Weekend, and Sissy Lea will be entertaining with her iconic drag act. There will be food available courtesy of McDonalds, alongside a raffle and cash bar.

Tickets are £30 plus booking fee and all proceeds will go to the charities supported by this year’s mayor, Cllr Jane Cooper, which are the Alzheimer’s Society, Putney and Roehampton boxing club and Battersea (Battersea Dogs and Cats’ Home).

“I’m looking forward to revising the fabulous decade that was the eighties, meeting local people and raising money for my charities,” said Cllr Cooper.

The event is at the Wandsworth Civic Suite, Wandsworth High Street on Friday January 24 from 7.30pm to 11.30pm.
