On the tube, services in the borough on the Northern Line will be affected by rolling stock tests on its Bank branch, which is currently closed between Moorgate and Kennington.

Over Easter there will be no service from Charing Cross to Battersea Power Station and Stockwell on Good Friday and Easter Saturday so that trains can be tested on the new section of Northern line southbound tunnel at Bank station for the first time ahead of its scheduled reopening in mid-May.

On the overground there will be no Southern Railway services between London Victoria and East Croydon over the four day Easter break while work is carried out on signalling upgrades and to lay new tracks and points at Clapham Junction station.

As well as disruption to services at Clapham Junction, Wandsworth Common and Balham, Gatwick Express services will be suspended with passengers advised to use Southern or Thameslink services between London Bridge and the airport.

Some Southern services will operate between Balham and East Croydon, while replacement buses will run between Balham and Clapham Junction on Good Friday, Easter Saturday and Easter Monday and between East Croydon and Clapham Junction on Easter Sunday.

The engineering works between Victoria and Clapham Junction will also have an impact on South Western services between Earlsfield and Vauxhall. A replacement bus service will operate between Clapham Junction and Wimbledon over the Easter break.

Passengers are advised to check tube journey details via https://tfl.gov.uk/plan-a-journey/ and overground and national rail services at https://www.nationalrail.co.uk/easter.
