Randall Close proposals (2020/0635)
Planning proposals for 2 Randall Close (Day Centre) and car park to the south and car park and play area/playground south of 1 Randall Close Surrey Lane Estate SW11 3TG
Demolition of existing buildings and redevelopment of site to include erection of three buildings between four and six storeys (fronting Battersea Bridge Road and Randall Close) to provide 106 residential units including affordable and market housing with associated public open space, landscaping, car and cycle parking, refuse storage, plant and amenity space.
Of the 106 new homes:
- 27 would be social rent,
- 22 would be shared ownership
- 57 for private sale
A new public square would be created in front of Gardiner House.
As part of the application, a parking strategy has been submitted demonstrating that there would be no net loss of parking.
The development is part of the Council’s wider objective to build 1,000 new homes.
