Invite the Mayor to an event
The Mayor regularly attends local functions in the community and is happy to be invited to:
- Chair Annual General Meetings
- Visit schools and voluntary groups
- Open fetes/garden parties
- Attend sports and charitable events
Before you start
To request a Mayoral visit or an engagement complete and submit your application at least 14 days before the date of the function.
You can request a Mayoral visit online or if you prefer, you can download an application form and post it to the address on the form or scan and send it to mayors.office@wandsworth.gov.uk.

Attendance by the Mayor will not be confirmed by the Mayor’s office unless they have received a fully completed application form.
The Mayor will sometimes consider requests if they are made with less than the 14-day period, but they need to be accompanied by a fully completed application form.
Availability
Please note that while the Mayor and Deputy Mayor attend as many events as they can, prior commitments sometimes mean that a visit is not possible.
What happens next
A member of the Mayor's Office will be in touch as soon as possible to discuss your requirements.

If for any reason the Mayor is unable to accept an engagement, the Deputy Mayor may attend on behalf of the Mayor.
