About Oasis Thessaly Road – open space

This green space is next to the Yvonne Carr Centre at the top of Thessaly Road. The site covers an area of approximately 3,100m2 with a landscape of largely flat open space surrounded by a series of earth mounds and mature trees at around the site edges.

After years of being unkept, gated and locked, the site is being opened for community use, starting with a renewal project and engagement with local residents to shape its future.

Oasis open day

Join us as we unlock the gates of Oasis for a day of community activities and engagement. 

After years of closure, we are opening up and renewing this unique green space. We want you to help explore and shape its future!

Everyone is invited to come along and have a say on how we bring the Oasis site back into use, together. We are interested in hearing what would you like to see in this space and what sort of uses would you be interested in.

The main gate is located on an access road behind Wandsworth Road, SW8.

A second gate is also located on Thessaly Road.
