Don’t miss the local family highlight of the summer – six hours of live performances on- and off-stage, dance and circus skills workshops, pizza-making, crafts and sports activities, plus wellbeing and fitness sessions and live music.
Free and open to all, Wandsworth Council's Happy Streets Festival in Battersea has something for everyone.
Kemi Akinola, Wandsworth Council Deputy Leader said: “We’d love you to come along to this weekend’s Happy Streets Festival and kick-start your family summer with a whole afternoon of free entertainment.
“We want to be London Borough of Culture in 2025, so we’d like everyone to get the chance to try a new activity or simply enjoy live music and performances this summer. While you’re at Happy Streets, why not find our London Borough of Culture stall to tell us about what you love about Wandsworth’s culture, or pop into Chocolate Films’ booth to share what makes you happy!”
Come along to take part in family dance workshops, discos and sports activities and in and around St George’s primary school festival venue, plus the main stage has a packed programme of live music and dance performances.
For some quiet time, get creative with outdoor craft workshops, a mural or colour therapy.
Learn more about the heritage of the local area with guided walks, join laughter yoga and breathing sessions or story time at the ROSE community clubroom festival venue.
