In his letter to the King and HRH Queen Camilla, Jeremy Ambache says: “As a nation we have benefitted from the exceptional service of your mother the Late Queen Elizabeth II. There is no doubt that you will continue this proud and devoted service in your ascension to the throne.
“May your reign be guided by wisdom and continued good health.”
To mark the Coronation and encourage residents to join together in celebration, Wandsworth Council has waived street party fees, supported local events and will be lighting Wandsworth Town Hall red, white and blue on Sunday evening.
The Mayor and Deputy Mayor Sarmila Varatharaj will be visiting coronation events across the borough. Outstanding local volunteers from Wandsworth have also been chosen to be Coronation Champions.
