Enhanced House Purchase Grants

The grant can also be used to purchase at home or abroad, extending the UK home of a relative, or used as a deposit towards a shared ownership property in the UK.

Grants are available subject to the size of the home you currently live in and the Council have recently increased the maximum level of grant it can provide for tenants living in three and four bedroom properties.

If you are interested in house purchase grants, we would like to invite you to an online web chat on Thursday 30th November with information and advice on the scheme.

You will be able to discuss with the Council’s team how the scheme works and eligibility, what grants are available including the increased grant levels for three and four bedroom properties, how to apply and answer any other questions you may have.
