Wandsworth Council is shining a light on the wide range of smaller businesses in town centres and neighbourhoods and is encouraging everyone to see what’s on offer, buy gifts and enjoy a drink or meal.
Small and micro businesses are the backbone of the local economy - making up 98.9 per cent of local firms.
Kemi Akinola, Wandsworth Council’s cabinet member for business said: “The festive season is a vital time for our local town centre shops, bars, pubs and restaurants, so please give them your custom if you can. You can find unique, personal gifts, support your local community and help the local economy thrive.”
