Did you know that you’re five times more likely to quit if you can stop smoking for just 28 days? It can be much easier to quit with tailored support, and there are many options available to suit all needs.
During October, Wandsworth Council’s Health Bus will be providing supportive information about smoking, vaping, and how to quit, as well as general advice on how to stay healthy.
Chat with experienced stop-smoking advisors and local health professionals on the bus, on Friday 27 October from 11.30am to 5pm, Tooting Market.
If you don’t smoke but would like general information about your health and wellbeing, a health professional will be on hand to offer tips on staying healthy as well as a blood pressure check.
The friendly Stop Smoking Team will also be available on the Health Bus on Thursday 2nd November at ASDA, 204 Lavender Hill, London SW11 1JG from 10am to 3.30pm. If you would prefer a chat on the telephone you can contact the team directly:
- Freephone (24 hour): 0800 389 7921
- Email: StopSmokingteam@wandsworth.gov.uk
Come join the ranks of thousands who are committed to giving up smoking, whether it’s you, a relative or friend, or simply come and have a chat about your health.
