Remember to bring your photo ID for the election

Voters will be required to show photographic identification at polling stations on General Election day (Thursday 4 July) before they are given a ballot paper.

                    You may already have a form of photo ID that is acceptable, including:
- Passport
 - Driving licence (including provisional license)
 - Blue Badge
 - Certain concessionary travel cards
 - Identity card with PASS mark (Proof of Age Standards Scheme)
 - Biometric Immigration Document
 - Defence identity card
 - Certain national identity cards
 
Remember to bring your photo ID with you to the polling station.
Only original documents are accepted - scanned images or copies will not be accepted.
You only need to apply for a Voter Authority Certificate if:
- you do not have accepted photo ID
 - you no longer look like the photo on your ID
 
You’ll need to apply by 5pm on Wednesday 26 June 2024 to get a Voter Authority Certificate for the General Election.
If you wish to appoint a proxy to vote on your behalf at a polling station the deadline for applications is 5pm on Wednesday 26 June. You can now apply for a proxy vote online at GOV.UK.
Wandsworth is responsible for three parliamentary constituencies:
