Grants available to homeowners
There are a number of government grants you can use to help make energy efficiency improvements to your home.
These include:
- Boiler Upgrade Scheme: Provides grants to cover part of the cost of replacing fossil fuel heating systems with a heat pump or biomass boiler
- Great British Insulation Scheme: Offers free or discounted insulation for houses with an EPC rating of D to G
- Energy Company Obligation (ECO4): A government energy-efficiency scheme, placing an obligation on energy companies to deliver retrofits. The scheme will run until 31 March 2026
- Connected for Warmth: An award winning grant scheme offering free energy-saving measures to homes across Britain using a mixture of funding sources
