Climate action microgrants

Our climate action microgrant scheme, launched in March 2024, was designed to empower community groups and residents to contribute to making Wandsworth a net zero borough by 2043.

So far, 35 projects have received microgrants totalling £15,176.88, with 22 projects completed and over 3,000 attendees.

Wandsworth Sustainability Network

The Wandsworth Sustainability Network was created to unite people who live, work, and study in Wandsworth together for informative talks, discussions, and collaboration around sustainability.

Meeting around three times a year, the network has covered themes like biodiversity, retrofit, and adaptation and resilience.

Events feature local experts and are held at various locations around the borough including the University of Roehampton, the Battersea Arts Centre, Battersea Ironsides Rugby Club, and Providence House.
