The annual Learning at Work Week from the Campaign for Learning puts the spotlight on the importance and benefits of continual learning and development in the workplace.

This year the council’s Lifelong Learning team is running a series of free short, motivational courses to celebrate the theme of “Learning Power” across areas including strengthening your management techniques and mastering time management for better productivity.
Highlights include:
- Award-winning journalist Angela Hui will talk about her career and shares her to tips on how to use networking to get ahead in the workplace.
- Small99 will deliver a workshop providing advice on how to grow a more profitable business through carbon reduction. Learn how taking action on net zero and sustainability can make your small business more profitable and prepare for the impacts of future legislation.
- Introduction to Building Resilience and Empowering Women (BREW) to help you develop confidence to reach your full potential.
