Cllr Kate Stock, Cabinet Member for Children, says; “We are very proud of the many achievements of our care experienced young people who have been awarded their A Level and BTEC Level 3 results today.  Their journeys are inspiring, and we wish them the very best in their next steps, which includes apprenticeships and acceptances at universities such as Loughborough, Brunel and Royal Holloway, with young people studying courses in foundation architecture and accountancy.”

Marcus Lau, Ark Putney Academy’s highest performing student of 2022, earned A*A*A in Maths, Further Maths and Chemistry, he is off to study Mathematics at UCL. Bruce Gerry, Deputy Head and Head of Sixth Form at Burntwood School, said; "We are so proud of our students, who have demonstrated such resilience and determination, especially in light of the many obstacles they have faced over the past few years. Many of our students have secured places at leading universities to study subjects ranging from Medicine, Architecture, Law, Education amongst many others. Our highest performing students have demonstrated the importance of hard work, dedication and focus; we wish them all the best of luck as they embark on the next stage of education."
