As the countdown to Christmas begins, we are urging residents to check out changes to opening hours and Council services over the Christmas and New Year period.

Rubbish and recycling collection changes
Over the festive period, some household rubbish and recycling collection dates will be a day later:

| Monday 30 December | No change |
| Tuesday 31 December | No change |

| Friday 3 January | Saturday 4 January |
Collections return to normal on Monday 6 January.
Real Christmas tree recycling
Our free real Christmas tree recycling collections will run from Monday 6 to Friday 31 January 2025. To recycle your tree before then, bring it to a drop-off point from Boxing Day (Thursday 26 December 2024).
