Now in its third year, the Women Achieving Greatness in Social Care Awards celebrate the dedication, leadership, and innovation of women across the social care sector.
With over 85 per cent of the workforce in social care being female, the awards highlight women whose careers have made a lasting difference to the lives of the people and families they support.
The Lifetime Achievement Award recognises women who have demonstrated passion, expertise and a lifelong commitment to improving social care services.
Ella has worked with Wandsworth Council since 2007, serving in roles across preventative services, youth justice, early help and targeted family support.
Reflecting on the awards, Ella said: “Being recognised as a finalist is a tremendous honour.
“It’s a privilege to work alongside so many dedicated colleagues in Wandsworth, and I hope this nomination highlights the excellent work our local authority does to support children, young people and families every day.”
Judi Gasser, Cabinet Member for Children, added: “Ella’s nomination and recognition at the Women Achieving Greatness Awards is a testament to her dedication and passion for social care.
“She has made a difference in the lives of children, young people and families across Wandsworth.”
Wandsworth Council congratulates Ella on this well-deserved recognition and thanks all the women in social care whose dedication and commitment make a profound impact on the community every day.
