Kemi Akinola, Deputy Leader of Wandsworth Council said: “We are so lucky to have incredible groups in our borough providing the help people need right in the heart of their communities.
“We want to thank them and provide them with the support they need to continue their work, including affordable workspace at our VCS Hub, and funding from the Wandsworth Grant Fund.”
The money available for this round of the Wandsworth Grant Fund was increased to ensure more local groups could be supported. This funding came from the council’s Cost of Living Fund and is part of a longer-term programme to support and strengthen the Wandsworth Grants Fund in Wandsworth.
