Cost of Living help available throughout 2024

Support continues to be available to Wandsworth residents throughout 2024, as pressures from the cost of living remain for many people.

Help such as Community Spaces, Warm Packs, and getting financial support through the Cost-of-Living Fund are also available to residents who are eligible. People are encouraged to find out what support they might be entitled to through the Cost of Living Support Calculator on the Cost of Living Hub.

During the winter months, rising costs, such as energy to heat your homes, can add pressure to what is an already challenging time financially.

Support and advice on how best to deal with the pressures, as well as mental health support, is also available on the hub and at some Community Spaces, for those who may just need someone to talk to.

Long term solutions to the cost of living are also being worked through by the Council, in response to the work done last year by the Cost-of-Living Commission, and the report which was delivered to the Council in December.

A response and plan on how the Council will respond to the recommendations found in the report will be presented to the Finance Committee in February 2024.
