Labour holds on to Tooting Broadway seat

Labour have retained their seat in Tooting Broadway ward following yesterday’s (Thursday’s) by-election.

Labour’s Sean Lawless won the seat with 67 per cent of the votes cast.
The full results are:
- Sean Lawless (Labour) 1,888
- Otto Jacobsson (Conservative) 542
- Nick Humberstone (Green) 261
- Thillainathan Haren (Lib Dem) 113
The by-election was called following the resignation of former Councillor Kate Forbes for work reasons.
