Mega skips day at seven locations across Wandsworth

Wandsworth's mega skips were open today (Saturday 29 June) at seven locations around the borough for residents to dump their bulky waste.
The skips were in the following places from 9am to 12noon:
- Mandrake Road, SW17
- Mellison Road, SW17
- Sheepcote Lane, SW11
- Blomfield Court, Just off Westbridge Road, Surrey Lane estate, SW11
- Albert Drive, SW19
- Neville Gill Close, SW18
- Frensham Drive, SW15 - full early and closed
Who can use the skips
The skips are open to residents of the London Borough of Wandsworth only. Proof of address may be required on the day.
We accept a recent photo ID, passport, driving licence, or utility bill (electricity, gas or Council Tax) as proof of residency.
Residents can take up to six items along with them to the mega skip for free, including some electrical equipment and household items like mattresses and sofas.
One bag of rubbish counts as one item, as does one sofa, one mattress, etc.

We cannot accept the following items:
- Hazardous objects or dangerous materials/chemicals such as sharp objects, needles, dangerous chemicals, plasterboard, flammable liquids and asbestos
- Paint
- Concrete
- Car batteries
- Cement, rubble or hardcore
- Plasterboard
- Engine oil or cooking oil
We will not tolerate any aggressive or abusive behaviour directed towards our staff, so please be courteous to our staff when dropping off unwanted items.
