Whether you’re looking for a warm place to relax, free Wi-Fi, or a hot drink and a friendly face, community spaces are here to help. For many residents, they have already become an essential part of daily life.

“As soon as I walk through the doors, I feel warm. I’ve been here so often so there are lots of people I know and it’s very nice to meet them and have a little chat. It’s absolutely lovely here, I look forward to coming.”  said Jan who regularly visits his local community space.

Practical help, when and where you need it

Run by the council, or in partnership with local charities, libraries, faith groups, and community organisations, over 60 spaces across Wandsworth are open for residents to use for free throughout the winter. Some offer hot meals, while others provide activities for children, financial advice, and wellbeing support.

This is just one of the ways Wandsworth Council is listening to and helping residents through the cost of living crisis. Other support includes:

A listening council, delivering for residents
