On 31 January 2020, the UK left the EU.

Guidance for all EU national residents
The Council wants to support the many EU citizens living in Wandsworth to continue to live, work and feel welcome in the borough.
If you are an EU, EEA or Swiss citizen, and were living in the UK before 31 December 2020 you are eligible to apply for the EU Settlement Scheme. The deadline for making applications has now passed, however the Home Office has stated they will consider late applications in some circumstances. The following web pages will help guide you through the process.
Local EU advice service
An EU advice service is delivered on behalf of the Council by Citizens Advice Wandsworth. This enables EU residents to get impartial, expert advice on nationality matters or the impact of the Government’s proposals and options available for them. This includes an information website and a series of public information events.
