Manage your exemption for the West Hill traffic management scheme

If you have an exemption for the West Hill traffic management scheme you can update, renew or cancel it online.

Change your vehicle registration number

You will need to update your exemption if you change your vehicle. To do this:

1. Log in to your account
2. Navigate to the 'Manage vehicle details section'
3. Click on 'Add new vehicle' and attach the proof of vehicle ownership document
4. Click 'Save'
5. Next, go to the 'Manage permits' tab
6. Click the 'Manage' icon associated with your permit
7. Select the 'Vehicles' tab
8. To update the vehicle on this permit, choose the new vehicle registration number from the list provided
9. Click 'Save' and then 'Submit'

Register an additional vehicle

To apply for a new vehicle permit, follow the steps outlined in the West Hill exemption permit guide.

Once you have applied for your new permit, visit the 'Manage permits' section to view the status of each of your permits.

Renew your exemption

You will receive an email reminder approximately four weeks before your exemption is due to expire, along with instructions on how to apply for renewal.

Please ensure your proof of residency and proof of ownership documents are current and up to date. Incomplete or outdated documents may cause delays in processing your renewal.

It is recommended to submit your renewal request at least seven days before the expiry date, as processing can take up to seven days. Submitting a renewal within the last seven days before expiry may cause the system to automatically expire the permit, resulting in the withdrawal of your renewal request. If this happens the permit cannot be reopened, and you will need to submit a new permit application.

If you have submitted your exemption renewal with the correct documentation but have not received an approval confirmation email, or if your permit has expired after submitting your renewal, please contact us at westhilltraffic@wandsworth.gov.uk for assistance.

Important: your permit will not be active until you receive a confirmation email.

Cancel your exemption

To cancel your exemption:

1. Log in to your account
2. Navigate to the 'Manage permits' tab
3. Click the 'Manage' icon next to the permit you wish to cancel
4. Scroll to the bottom and click the 'Cancel permit' icon
