Voting by postal proxy
General election 2019
The deadline for receiving new postal vote and postal proxy applications, and for changes to existing postal or proxy votes is 5pm on 26 November 2019.
If your proxy wants your ballot paper posted to them, they will need to apply for a postal proxy vote.
To do this, they must complete and submit an application for a proxy to vote by post , which requires your proxy’s signature and date of birth.
If we do not receive a valid postal proxy application (by 5pm, 11 working days before an election), your proxy will have to attend your polling station on election day to vote on your behalf.
