We are committed to building a healthier and more sustainable food space for everyone; where every resident has fair access to healthy and nutritious food and communities are at the heart of planning food accessibility in their own neighbourhoods.

That’s why we are developing plans for a new Food Partnership, comprised of a Strategic Food Board and Food Network to bring together partners from across Wandsworth to collaborate on food.

Strategic Food Board

We are assembling a steering group of strategic partners to lead the development of a comprehensive, borough-wide food strategy. This group will play a key role in fostering partnerships and shaping sustainable food initiatives in Wandsworth.

We’re seeking representation from diverse sectors, including health, housing, education, business, and the voluntary and community sectors.

Ideal partners will be:

  • Passionate about enhancing Wandsworth’s sustainable food environment
  • Able to provide meaningful contributions to strategic discussions
  • Committed to supporting the implementation of our borough-wide food strategy

Food Network

We invite organisations from all sectors to join a Food Network aimed at building connections, sharing resources, and addressing a wide range of food-related challenges. If there is demand, we are open to forming thematic sub-networks focused on specific areas of interest.

The Food Network will feature:

  • Collaborative events: In-person and virtual gatherings to exchange ideas
  • Peer support: A space to share experiences and best practices
  • Co-creation opportunities: Members can suggest session topics and co-facilitate discussions with council support
