Sustainable September is back for a month-long celebration of sustainability initiatives in Wandsworth – and you’re invited to be part of the green extravaganza.
Join in taking community action to tackle climate change by sharing your exciting ideas for Sustainable September – from gardening and nature projects, to repair and recycling hubs, street festivals and community events.
Wandsworth’s first-ever Sustainable September last year engaged more than 4,500 attendees across 69 community-led climate action events – and we want 2025 to be even bigger and better with your help.
Register your climate-focused projects, events and activities by 15 August to reach even more residents across the borough and beyond.
Paul White, Cabinet Member for Environment, said: “We cannot wait for our second year of bringing communities together throughout Sustainable September, and helping people think about taking action on climate change.
“It’s set to be a packed programme of events and initiatives that champion climate action and we’re excited to hear even more fantastic ideas from our communities.
“From nature walks, crafting sessions and gardening projects to repair or reuse initiatives and street festivals – Sustainable September is all about encouraging community conversations and helping local people bring about real change.
“Register your event now to be part of this month of eco action.”
