Local community and voluntary organisations and businesses are invited to get involved in this year's Brighter Living Fair promoting healthy, safe and independent living.

Brighter Living runs throughout October, to coincide with International Older People’s Day and Silver Sunday.
This year’s theme is Physical Activity and the council wants to work with local groups to make older people aware of all the opportunities in the borough to stay active and socially connected.
It is offering grant of up to £250 through its Brighter Living Fund to help local groups take part. These could include organising taster sessions, special events and workshops.
Interested Wandsworth-based community groups, charities and businesses should get in touch now. The deadline to apply is August 4.
