Paying for parking at the machine

You should always check the pay and display machine relevant to where your vehicle is parked for current information on the pay and display charges that apply. Arrows on the parking bay signs will direct you to the machine you should use. The machines do not give change.

Machines either accept payment by:

• Coin (20p, 50p, £1 and £2 coins), or
• Credit/debit card (Chip & Pin or contactless card)

There is a minimum charge of 20p, which will purchase a very short period of time. Prices per hour will vary by street. You can check before you travel.
