Organisation structure
In October 2016, Wandsworth and Richmond Councils created a single shared staffing arrangement (SSA) serving both Councils. In September 2025, this became the Better Service Partnership.
The Directors' Board comprises the Chief Executive and the other departmental directors.
Both Councils continue to be separate sovereign bodies with their own elected Councillors and Leaders, maintaining their distinct identities and retaining the ability to develop policies and priorities that matter to their local residents.
