We will ensure the future buildings and developments by the council have a low or zero carbon footprint.

What we are doing

Actions we are taking on planning and sustainability:

• Reducing carbon emission from buildings by ensuring they are energy efficient
• Working the organisations who meet high sustainability standards to develop new buildings
• Implementing our Local Plan strategy which sets out spatial vision for Wandsworth and how it will be achieved

• Take actions to ensure that your home is energy efficient
• Recycle and reuse any construction waste you might have

Outcomes of our actions

• Zero or low carbon will be emitted from new buildings in Wandsworth
• Buildings that already exist will have carbon reductions measures put in place
