Greener parking permits

From 3 June 2024 there will no longer be an option to apply for a ‘greener’ parking permit.

This change is being made following a review of all parking charges in the borough. Given the increasing number of these vehicles now in use in the borough that qualify for this permit, it has been considered appropriate that these permits be discontinued and that the same parking permit prices should apply to all vehicle types.

For more information on this and other changes to parking charges view the committee paper (items 18-21 refer).
