Where to watch the Coronation

Watch the coronation for free on a big screen on Saturday and enjoy community events across the borough throughout the weekend.

A previous big screening in Battersea Park

The ceremony will be shown in Battersea Park, alongside live music and activities, including a Make Your Own Crown workshop for families.

The council has also supported big screen showings at St Nicolas Church, Tooting and St Mary’s and St John the Divine Church, Balham.

Town centre events include a Coronation Celebration at the Ram Quarter, Wandsworth on Saturday from 11am and a family fun day and volunteer village in Church Square, Putney on Monday from noon until 4pm.

Borough libraries will be holding Coronation events all day on Saturday, including family activities, free tea and cake in some, plus a chance to watch the ceremony on TV at Tooting, Putney, Roehampton, Southfields and Northcote. See details.

People will also be celebrating with their neighbours, with residents of 144 streets applying to the council to hold a street party.
