Wandsworth Climate Summit 2020
In November 2020 Wandsworth Council held its first Climate Summit since declaring a climate emergency in 2019.
The Wandsworth Climate Summit brought together representatives of the Council, residents, community groups and organisations to discuss key issues surrounding climate change in our borough, and how we can all work together to make a difference.

In this session, we will come together to discuss how to get around the borough sustainably, including the support and services available to residents. This will include advice on walking, cycling and Electric Vehicles.

Greening your home
Want to know more about energy efficiency in your home? This session will include talks on choosing a green energy provider, retrofitting your home, and highlight funding available through the Green Homes Grant. Please note that the Green Homes Grant has since closed.
There will be tips on how to take action in our homes, and why it is important for us to do so to help slow the pace of climate change in our borough.

This session provides an introduction to the circular economy based on the principles of designing out waste and pollution, keeping products and materials in use, and regenerating natural systems.
Recycling and waste
This session informs residents about waste and recycling in our borough. We will talk about what we can and can’t recycle and discuss why it is important that we work towards becoming a plastic-free society and minimise waste where we can.
